Specialist for Digitalisation
Learning content
Are you working from a laptop, from wherever you want? That’s a good start if you want to work digitally but to work really successfully and happily, especially in a team, takes more than a portable laptop and is an important part of digital transformation. That’s why we take a close look at which working models work well for which tasks because digital is not automatically always better, or even possible. It is, therefore, important to weigh up when digital makes sense and when a hybrid model consisting of traditional and digital elements is more effective.
Digitalisation is often equated with using new programs and working from home. Others think of artificial intelligence taking over the entire work process. In reality, we are somewhere in between – and each company is at a different point in its journey.
That’s why we’re taking a very close look at what digitalisation actually means in a wider context, and where you can position your company. This will immediately give you a perspective on what you can change as a digitalisation specialist (IHK) – and where the journey should take you.
Digital transformation is teamwork – yet managers are key players. They organise collaboration, which is not always easy in the age of the home office and remote working. They manage conflicts and communicate change – all in addition to their operational tasks.
In the corresponding module, you will learn why digitalisation nevertheless fulfils the dreams of many a manager.
Everyone is open to change in different ways. Of course, this also applies to a revolutionary change such as the digitalisation process. For some, it can’t happen fast enough, while for others the impending changes are a huge threat.
You will inevitably encounter reservations and fears in your environment. In this course, you will not only learn which fears you will encounter, but also how to deal with them. After all, your transformation process will only be successful if you are able to bring your employees with you.
No two companies are the same. Therefore, careful consideration is required when it comes to the use of standard or customised solutions. We will look at which areas of the company play which role in the process. You will learn to work strategically so that you have the whole company in view and can find the best solution. An important factor here is communication!
When tasks, processes and business areas are digitalised, know how may be required that does not yet exist within the company. It may then become necessary to outsource tasks.
However, this does not only apply to specific technical tasks. External knowledge and input can also be helpful when it comes to planning, coordination, motivation and implementation. You will find out exactly when this makes sense and what you need to bear in mind in a separate module.

Digitalisation is a megatrend of our time – but it is no longer new. Nevertheless, many companies still don’t know how to utilise it profitably. This is because digitalisation is more than just using new programs. Revolutionising collaboration, optimising processes or developing completely new business models – digitalisation makes all of this possible.
