What you can expect
Have you been learning German for some time without feeling confident about your pronunciation? Do you lack the phrases which make office small talk easy?
In this Micro Learning course for advanced German learners, you’ll learn the key rules of word stress and pronunciation, with a focus on the sounds non-Germans find the most challenging. At the same time, you’ll be watching typical small talk situations, with the chance to pick up some useful words and phrases. You’ll polish your pronunciation whilst learning how to talk about the weekend, the weather and what’s happening in the office when chatting to colleagues in the tea room or at lunch.
Since correct grammar is not the most important factor for understanding, but rather pronunciation, you’ll practice correct word stress and also how to pronounce a range of individual sounds. We’ll look at some typical “problem areas” in pronunciation so that you can avoid these mistakes!
Soon you’ll feel more confident when speaking and be able to express yourself with ease.

Cynthia is a translator and teacher, who has also been teaching her native language, German, for over nine years (as well as English, Spanish, and Portuguese). For the past four years, she has worked in content creation, developing her own materials and German learning modules. She also gives talks on the use of artificial intelligence in foreign language teaching.
Cynthia has taught in both Germany and Spain. She works with all levels and age groups, currently focusing mainly on professionals in large companies. At the moment, she is particularly interested in artificial intelligence and is continuing her professional development in this field.
What matters most to her is making language lessons lively and engaging, while staying flexible and adapting spontaneously to the needs of her learners.

Yes. The education providers in the group are AZAV-accredited. Jobseekers use an education voucher (Bildungsgutschein) or AVGS from the employment agency or Jobcenter, companies use funding under the Qualification Opportunities Act (QCG), and language courses are funded among others via BAMF.
