There is constant talk that the world of work is changing and that you have to accompany change if you want it to work. But what does that actually mean? What are the latest trends? And why is everything changing so quickly? Change management is a process, because it’s not enough to just introduce something new and hope that’s enough.
That’s why you’ll first learn what exactly is behind the buzzword “change management”, what myths exist and what you should avoid at all costs if you really want to bring about change.
Some people like to try out new things of their own accord. Others are dissatisfied with the current situation and are looking for a solution to their problems. But for some people, change means pure stress. It all depends on your personality type. For change to succeed, you need to know what needs it can satisfy in people and what fears it can trigger and how you can support each personality type along the way. As a Change Management Specialist (IHK), you will learn the psychological basics needed to respond to each type individually.
When everything is in a state of flux, leadership is even more relevant. It provides orientation in the change process – and can therefore make an important difference. However, this makes the demands on a manager even more complex. To ensure that you are equipped for this challenge, you will learn methods to remain capable of acting even in a complex change dynamic.
Change happens whether you want it to or not. Even if you don’t specifically want to drive change forward, it may already be on the doorstep of your company. As a Change Management Specialist (IHK), you will learn how to manage change in a targeted manner. In the training course, you will learn what constructive change architecture looks like, who has what responsibilities in the process and what project organisation that maps this process looks like.
Every company is different. Requirements, goals, employees – all of these play a role in the change process. That’s why you won’t learn one path to apply to everyone. Instead, we will provide you with methods for analysing your company and weighing up exactly which path is right for you. We will also present two case studies which will demonstrate directly how you can put what you have learnt into practice.
Systematically drive When you are finally ready to tackle the change process in your organisation, you will learn a proven system to help you. You will be able to manage, control and optimise change. Techniques such as Advocatus Diaboli, the WEIN method and storytelling will help you do this. This will equip you to put your accumulated knowledge into practice and make lasting changes to your company.change.

Regardless of whether it’s about framework conditions, production resources, processes or goals, as a change management specialist (IHK), you will learn to understand change as a process that you can control. In nine modules and many individual lessons, you will learn which methods and approaches are available to change your company in a targeted manner and make it fit for the future.
